Police Investigating A Noose Found At Crown Heights Church

CROWN HEIGHTS—A person over the weekend put a noose outside a Pentecostal church in Crown Heights, in a possible hate crime, according to the NYPD.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage from a building across the street from the United House of Prayer for all People at 1325 Park Pl, between Utica and Schenectady avenues, where on Saturday, June 22nd, morning the noose was discovered around 8:50 am.

Police are investigating as a potential hate crime. There are no suspects in custody as of this writing, and an investigation is underway, the NYPD said Monday.
