From a popular storytime for babies to a game day for slightly older kids, there’s a lot of great stuff coming up this week for the young ones in your life to enjoy. Details on those and more events in the area:

Babies & Books
When: Wednesday, June 11, 10am & 10:30am
Where: Central Library, Youth Wing, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: Bring your kids up to 18 months old to enjoy books, songs, and rhymes.
How much: Free, but space is limited. Pick up a ticket at the Children’s Reference Desk on the morning of the program; call 718-230-2117 for more info.

City Stomp Family Concert
When: Thursday, June 12, 5pm
Where: The Old Stone House, 3rd Street between 4th & 5th Avenues
What: Enjoy a free, live show of rock ‘n’ roll for youngsters of every age as part of Spoke the Hub’s outdoor series, Local Produce in the Gardens.
How much: Free!

Explore & Create: Father’s Day Craft
When: Friday, June 13, 4pm
Where: Park Slope Library, 431 6th Avenue
What: Father’s Day is on Sunday, June 21, so kids are welcome to do some arts and crafts to make something to show pop how special he is.

Brooklyn Game Lab @ The Library
When: Saturday, June 14, 1:30-3:30pm
Where: Park Slope Library, 431 6th Avenue
What: For three sessions in June, the Brooklyn Game Lab will share unique boardgames that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity for kids and teens ages 7 and up.
How much: Free!

Mighty Dads Storytime
When: Saturday, June 14, 2pm
Where: Barnes & Noble, 267 7th Avenue
What: Just in time for Father’s Day, hear the story of hardworking Cement Mixer, Dump Truck, and Forklift fathers, each of whom is ready, willing, and fully powered to protect and teach their kids.

Pop-Up Audubon: Incredible Invertebrates
When: Sunday, June 15, 2-5pm
Where: Entrance to the Ravine, downhill from the Picnic House, Prospect Park
What: Explore the freshwater ecosystem of Prospect Park, enjoy nature while helping to keep the Park clean, or join a naturalist for a Ravine hike to the waterfall trail during the hourly lineup of events every Sunday in June.
