Park Slope Open House Picks

Park Slope Open House Picks
627 3rd St via Sotheby's

Looking for a new home in Park Slope? We’ve rounded up a few of the more promising looking places for sale that are hosting open houses this weekend. Any thoughts?

627 3rd Street
Open House: Sunday, November 17, 12-2pm
List Price: $3,950,000, via Sotheby’s
Details: This 4,250-square-foot single-family limestone townhouse has three stories with an English basement, an open double parlor and dining room featuring original details (the floors have some incredible inlays), and an updated kitchen (pictured above) with a lot of storage. It’s got four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, laundry in the basement, and central air conditioning, but if for some reason you ever want to leave, it’s a quick walk to Prospect Park.

19 Prospect Park West, #3
Open House: Sunday, November 17, 3-4:30pm
List Price: $1,725,000, maintenance $1,333, via Brown Harris Stevens
Details: This 3-bed, 2-bath co-op has a somewhat unusual layout, but if you want to live in a brownstone across from the Park and can’t afford (or just don’t want) a whole one, this could be your best best. And it’s got so much character in the details, from the colorfully tiled fireplaces and bathroom to the mantlepieces and stained glass windows. But should it really be listed as a 2-bedroom with a dining room off the kitchen, instead?

759 President Street, #1J
Open House: Sunday, November 17, 1-3pm
List Price: $739,000, maintenance $1,138, via Brooklyn Properties
Details: This 1,025-square-foot 1-bed, 1-bath co-op looks like it has a nice amount of space in the main living area which could be great if you like to entertain, including a little step up to a space that could be used for a dining room table, which then opens to the bedroom. The bathroom was recently redone, and you’ve got access to a shared garden and roof deck.

103 Prospect Park West, #4
Open House: Sunday, November 17, 12-1pm
List Price: $670,000, maintenance $1,025, via Corcoran
Details: It may not have as much living space as the President Street apartment above, but this half-floor duplex co-op has got 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, more light, and it’s got a nice view of the Park. No dogs allowed, though.
