146 Willow Street (between Clark & Pierrepont Streets), which initially asked for $18 million, recently went into contract for $13.9 million, according to Curbed, who notes that the residence is one of Brooklyn’s most expensive townhouses. The most expensive townhouse, located at 177 Pacific Street in Cobble Hill, sold in 2015 for $15.5 million.

146 Willow Street was purchased by developer Shahrzad Khayami in 2014 for $6.8 million. The developer decided to convert the 8,850-square-foot, seven-unit rental building into a single-family mansion featuring seven stories, seven bedrooms, seven full baths, an elevator, skylight, a 25 feet landscaped backyard, fourth-floor terrace/green roof, and a landscaped roof deck with outdoor kitchen, according to Street Easy.

When the renovated 1920s building first went on the market in May 2016, the price tag was $18 million. After approximately six months, the price was cut down to $16 million, Brownstoner reported in November 2016. The price went down further to $13.9 million earlier this year, and the home went into contract a few weeks ago, according to Curbed.
