A Deadly Fall In Brighton Beach
BRIGHTON BEACH – A fight that turned deadly and a 52-year-old man died after being pushed down the stairs of his home by a family member.
On February 3rd at 2:27 a.m., cops were called to the Brighton Beach apartment for a fight. There, they found Maximinos Marmolejo with trauma to his head. Marmolejo and his brother-in-law, 56-year-old Isaias Rendon were fighting with each other in what the Daily News calls a “family feud.” He was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital.
The NYPD arrested Rendon, who lived just a seven-minute walk away from Marmolejo’s house. The suspect is charged with first and second-degree manslaughter, as they do not know if Rendon meant to purposefully kill Marmolejo.
