A 33-year-old man drove his knife into two people at a local sushi restaurant Thursday night while his nine-month-old baby wailed nearby, authorities say.

Coney Island resident Vadim Rozanovsky was with his infant daughter and the child’s mother at the Mitoushi restaurant on Sheepshead Bay Road, near Voorhies Avenue, when he got into an argument with two men just before 11pm, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office.

During the argument, police say Rozanovsky pulled out a blade and plunged it into the chest of a 19-year-old man. He also attacked the teen’s friend, who is 20, by slashing his left hand, according to the NYPD.

Both victims were taken to Lutheran Hospital. The 19-year-old was in critical condition and had to undergo surgery, authorities say.

The mother of Rozanovsky’s daughter told authorities their child was crying while the attack took place, according to the DA’s office.

Police say Rozanovsky fled the scene in a 2014 Lexus. He was arrested a half-hour later at the Stop & Shop on Cropsey Avenue, according to authorities.

Rozanovsky has been charged with multiple counts of assault, menacing, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, says the DA.
