Lots of Car Break-Ins, A Knifepoint Robbery, And More Recent Crimes
No updated CompStat report available this week from the 70th Precinct, but in addition to the car that was stolen from East 17th Street, there have been a few other crimes reported in the area recently:
• The car pictured above was broken into at some point before the morning of Tuesday, August 21, while parked on Argyle between Cortelyou and Dorchester.
• Neighbors reported another recent car break-ins on Argyle, this one between Beverley and Cortelyou, and two more on Dorchester near Rugby.
• A man was robbed at knifepoint in his apartment on E 22nd St between Cortelyou and Clarendon on August 12, according to the Brooklyn Daily, which noted some other crimes around the periphery of our area as well.
