Join Kensington Activists April 25 For A Pre-May Day Speak Out

Whether you’re already passionate about the ongoing boycotts at Golden Farm, a $15 minimum wage, immigrants’ rights, stopping the Keystone XL Pipeline, or halting high stakes testing in schools–or even if you’re just curious about the topics–Friday, April 25 is the day for you to hear what local activists are buzzing about.

At 6pm on Friday, Occupy Kensington will be holding a speak out at the corner of Beverley Road and Church Avenue to address various controversial issues affecting our community. Speakers will include members of the Green Party of Brooklyn and Change the Stakes, neighbors involved in the Golden Farm boycotts, immigrant rights activists, and parents who opted their children out of this year’s high stakes tests.
