Council Member Lander To Host Community Meeting On Homeless Shelter

Council member Brad Lander is hosting a community meeting to discuss the homeless shelter that will be opening on McDonald Avenue this month.

The meeting is being held to help answer any questions or concerns neighbors may have related to the shelter. This is a complicated issue, and a person can be both concerned about the impact the shelter may have on the community while also wishing to show compassion for the families who are moving in.

The meeting will be held at PS 230, 1 Albemarle Road at McDonald Avenue, on Thursday, December 10, at 6:30pm.
