Community Boards 6 And 7 Monthly Board Meetings

The summer break is now over for local organizations, and meetings are starting to kick back up. Our area is covered by two Community Boards, with 15th Street as the border between them. These upcoming meetings are open to the public, and it’s a great way to get a first-hand look at what’s going on in the neighborhood:

• The Community Board 6 monthly board meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at 6:30pm at the Prospect Park Residence, 1 Prospect Park West.

• The Community Board 7 monthly board meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30pm at the CB7 office, 4201 4th Avenue (entrance on 43rd Street). There will be a presentation by the area’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) on Ready New York, which is a campaign to help New Yorkers be prepared for all kinds of emergencies.
