“Blacklist” To Be Filmed In Three Neighborhood Locations Tomorrow
This is for all you James Spader fans.
“Blacklist,” a “global thriller that follows a criminal mastermind aiding the FBI in bringing down a network of previously unknown international villains and syndicates,” is being filmed in Ditmas Park tomorrow.
[“Network of previously unknown international villains and syndicates”? Wow.] James Spader and Megan Boone both star in the show, which is now filming its third season.
Residents should not park in impacted areas as of 6pm this evening. Filming will be happening tomorrow, from 7am to 1pm, in three locations:
Church Avenue (between Westminster and Buckingham Roads), both sides;
Marlborough Road (between Albemarle and Beverley Roads), both sides; and
Beverley Road (between Rugby and Marlborough Roads), both sides.
Woodbridge Productions says that it will be clearing and holding parking in advance of tomorrow’s shoot. They are urging Ditmas Park residents to avoid parking TONIGHT in areas where filming is happening tomorrow in order to avoid being towed.
According to data crunched by WNYC, 822 filming permits for scripted television shows were issued between 2011 and 2015 for the Kensington / Ditmas Park / Flatbush area.
