You’ve now got two ways to get directly from Park Slope to the beach. NYC Beach Bus is launching on the 4th of July weekend, and the ticket price for a round-trip ride is a bit cheaper than Rockabus — plus, you can join them for yoga on the beach, if you want.

NYC Beach Bus picks up from 4th Avenue at Pacific Street (there’s also a pick-up location in Williamsburg) and takes you to either Rockaway Beach (Beach 84th St & Shore Front Parkway) or Jacob Riis Park (Rockaway Beach & Promenade).

One-way tickets are $10 per person (same as Rockabus), and round-trip tickets are $12 (compared to $15 with Rockabus). They also offer “yogilates” classes for $7 online or $10 in person, on Rockaway Beach at 10:30am and 12:30pm.

The bus will run on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays through September 2. Visit their site for departure times and to buy tickets, and for updates and photos, follow them on Twitter and Instagram.
