88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Week Of September 21-27

Compared to last week, crime went up in these categories:

  • rape (from 0 to 2)
  • felony assault (from 2 to 3)
  • petit larceny (from 10 to 16)
  • misdemeanor sex crimes (from 0 to 1)

On the brighter side, reported crime fell in the following categories:

  • murder (from 3 to 0)
  • robbery (from 8 to 2)
  • burglary (from 7 to 2)
  • grand larceny (from 7 to 5)
  • auto theft (from 7 to 1)
  • housing (from 5 to 3)
  • misdemeanor assault (from 5 to 4)
  • shootings (from 1 to 0)

And these stayed the same:

  • transit (0)

The next meeting of the Public Service Area 3 (housing police) is this Wednesday, October 7 at 585 DeKalb Avenue.

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be Tuesday, October 20.
