88th Precinct Crime Statistics: September 14-20 Was A Sad Week, With Crime Going Up

Compared to last week, crime went up in most categories:

  • murder & shooting victims (from 0 to 3)
  • robbery (from 3 to 8)
  • burglary (from 4 to 7)
  • auto thefts (from 1 to 7)
  • housing (from 2 to 5)
  • misdemeanor assault (from 1 to 5)

On the brighter side, reported crime fell in the following categories:

  • felony assault (from 3 to 2)
  • transit (from 2 to 0)
  • petit larceny (from 11 to 10)

And these stayed the same:

  • grand larceny (7)

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be Tuesday, October 20.
