88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Petit Larcenies Drop, But Other Crime Categories See Increases
The number of petit larcenies dropped this week compared to last week (August 10-16), but burglaries, felony assaults, and grand larcenies inched up.
Reported crime fell in the following categories:
- robberies (from 3 to 2)
- petit larceny (from 20 to 14)
- misdemeanor assault (from 4 to 2)
Meanwhile, crime rose in these categories:
- felony assault (from 2 to 4)
- burglary (from 2 to 6)
- grand larceny (from 4 to 8)
- housing (from 1 to 4)
- misdemeanor sex crimes (from 0 to 1)
And these stayed the same:
- auto thefts (1 incident)
- transit (1 incident)
The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be in SEPTEMBER.
