10 Best Places To Eat Waffles In Brooklyn
It’s #NationalWaffleDay! On August 24, 1869, a man named Cornelius Swartwout received the first U.S. patent for the waffle iron (though it really was just an improvement on existing designs that go back centuries). Want more history of waffles? Mental Floss did an excellent post last year, check it out!
To celebrate, here are a few amazing waffle places in Brooklyn — in no particular order of course.

This is mainly a dessert shop, with a great waffle selection: Russian Caramel Sauce with Berries Waffle, Nutella and Banana Waffle, Peanut Butter and Jelly Waffle, and Cream Cheese Waffle (along with many more).

But do try out the waffles and let us know what you think!
8. SoCo (Clinton Hill)
