Living a Soulful Life with Manorama Ji
When: Friday, October 18 from 7-9:50pm
Where: Jaya Yoga East (2902 Fort Hamilton Parkway on the corner of E 4th Street)
What: Consider and discuss who you are on all levels, how to understand yourself more fully, and how to live Manorama’s five principles for soulful living.
How much: $115, plus $26 cash for materials

Kirtan with Devadas Labrecque
When: Saturday, October 19 from 7-8:30pm
Where: Jaya Yoga East
What: Fun call and response chanting and singing for all, no experience necessary.
How much: $10 suggested donation

Vinyasa Yoga
When: Tuesdays at 6:30am and 6:45pm, Thursdays at 6:45pm, and Sundays at 7pm
Where: Ditmas Fitness Studios (593 Coney Island Avenue between Lewis Place and Matthews Court)
What: An hour-long, all levels class at sunrise or in the evening that focuses on breath and flowing movements.

Kundalini Yoga

What: An hour and 15 minutes of employing energy-transfering techniques in your meditation practice.

Ditmas Park Mindfulness Group
When: Thursdays at 7:30am
Where: Lark (1007 Church Avenue between E 11th Street and Stratford Road)
What: “This meetup will give you new mental space from which you can tackle the day with a ready and able mind,” says the description of the event. “If you are looking to find more peace of mind, focus and just some time in your life to relax, then join us at Lark to start your day off right.”

Hatha Vinyasa Yoga
When: Wednesdays at 11:15am
Where: Third Root (308 Marlborough Road between Cortelyou and Dorchester Roads)
What: This one hour and 15 minute-long class taught by Hanakyle Moranz is open to all levels.

Meditation

Fully Live Vinyasa Yoga and Music with Ramit Kreitner and Maryann McSweeney
When: Sunday, October 27 from 9-10:30am

What: Jazz maestro Maryann McSweeney plays during this popular Sunday morning class, for which pre-registration is recommended.

Sacred Songs and Stories with Raghunath Cappo
When: Saturday, November 2 from 7-8:30 pm
Where: Jaya Yoga East
What: “Come meet one of the most inspired teachers alive,” Jaya says, “as he shares with us kirtan and the stories of the saints of India.”
