Windsor Terrace Group Wants Your Ideas About Making Neighborhood Streets Safer
Anna Gustafson -
A group of concerned Windsor Terrace residents are launching a discussion about the need for the city Department of Transportation and the NYPD to pay greater attention to the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists on neighborhood streets. To start, the group has developed a survey to find out about safety hot spots in the community, and they’re asking anyone interested to take five minutes to fill out a survey and let them know where the city can improve street safety.
The group also plans to hold a community meeting on September 15 at PS 130 at 6:30pm to share the survey results and recruit volunteers to help advocate for the safety of the community.
