Windsor Terrace Food Co-op Aims To Open At 825 Caton Avenue In March

After signing a five-year lease for 825 Caton Avenue earlier this month, the Windsor Terrace Food Co-op said in an email today that they aim to open the shop in March.

Before they do that, however, the co-op, which so far has attracted more than 300 members, has issued what they called an “unusual request.”

Co-op leader and neighbor Jack O’Connell wrote in an email:

We have been meeting for more than two years. During that period a lot of people have done a lot of very good things to get us to the point of opening. One of those things was to set up a Facebook page. It is actually quite a good piece of work, a bit outdated at this point though.
Our request? We don’t know who set up the page and have no idea what the password is. If you set up the page, we’d love to hear from you so that we can update and utilize this important form of communication.

So, dear readers, if you are the creator of said Facebook page, let the co-op know! You can email them at windsorterracefoodcoop@gmail.com.

If you’re interested in learning more about the co-op, and you’re already a member, you can attend the initial members meeting on Monday, February 2 from 7-8:30pm at Holy Name Parish Hall (245 Prospect Park West between Prospect Avenue and Windsor Place).

For more information about the gathering and the incoming shop, you can visit the co-op’s website.
