Will We Get Our First Snow Tomorrow?!

New York City — The Department of Sanitation has declared a snow alert for New York City beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12.

Get your hats and gloves out! Data from the National Weather Service predicts below-freezing temperatures.

On Tuesday, rain is likely before noon with anticipation for wet snow.  Temperature will fall to around 35 by 5 p.m. Expect high winds, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Tuesday night will have sharply colder weather as wind speed rises, with lows near the record of 22 which was set in 1873.
