Who’s Been Having Mail Delivery Issues Lately?

A neighbor wrote last night to tell us that as of 6:30pm, he hadn’t received mail on Argyle Road in zip 11218, adding that service on the route has been inconsistent for a while. He elaborates:

We’ve had no regular carrier for a couple of weeks. When asked the substitutes said they were new to the station and just filling in. The older reliable carrier we had for the last year or so has been missing. [It’s] inexcusable. We have a few residents that run businesses out of their home offices and receive checks via mail.

You might remember a similar problem was resolved a few years ago when 11226 residents receiving perpetually-late mail sought help from Congresswoman Yvette Clarke and other local representatives.

If you’ve been having mail delivery problems, you can write Rep. Clarke through her site’s contact form, or call her Brooklyn District Office at 718-287-1142. And of course, let us know what your service has been like in the comments below.
