Wheated In Ditmas Park Expands Hours, Buffalo's Famous Closes

DITMAS PARK – Some super local food news. Starting this Friday, December 15th, the bar at Wheated (905 Church Ave), which features an excellent and quite possibly – largest whiskey collection in Brooklyn will open at 3 pm, and the restaurant and pizza kitchen will be open starting at 5 pm, a full hour earlier than usual. This is a permanent change to their hours on Fridays and Saturdays going forward.

Teachers (yes, you, working at PS130, PS889, IS890, PS139, PS249, …) listen up – they will be offering 10% off all food and drink to all guests with a valid NYC Teacher ID Card until 6PM on Friday and Saturdays.

If you have yet to visit, Wheated not only has a most excellent selection of pizzas and drinks, but the place and people are incredibly welcoming to all and never fail to make folks happy. The wait times had been getting a bit out of hand, so we are happy to hear the news.
