What Would You Like To See At 631 5th Avenue?

A vacancy on a rapidly changing stretch of 5th Avenue has us wondering what else this part of the commercial strip could use.

The storefront at 631 5th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets, was most recently home to Suki Sushi, which closed earlier this year. The 1,200-square-foot space is currently available and listed for $5,500 per month. The listing seems to suggest they’re only considering restaurant tenants, though it notes there’s no venting (though, from the pics, it seems like there might be? or have been?), so that might limit those options.

Across the street, the Eagle Provisions building is for sale and a new deli is moving in, and down the street there’s a corner space for rent, among others. So what would you like to see in this space?
