What Are The Pros And Cons Of Your Local Park? Take CB 2’s Survey

What’s your favorite park in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill? Does it have a bathroom? Is it wheelchair accessible? Are the grounds clean? Do you feel safe? Are there water fountains? Are there events held there? What do you love about it and what improvements would you like to see?

These are just a few of the questions in a new online survey being conducted by our volunteer-led local government, Brooklyn Community Board 2.

The survey’s goal is “to learn what residents and others think about the parks and playgrounds in the district. he results of the survey will help the board understand the assets and challenges of each space from a user ‘s viewpoint with the goal of ensuring that our open spaces are safe, clean and optimally utilized.”

Survey results will be included in “a narrative profile of the community district and an assessment of its needs and concerns,” which will be submitted to the Department of City Planning.

To comment on multiple parks, complete the survey once for each park.

So make your voice heard! The survey is active from now through Monday, June 15.
