Welcome To 9th Street, Uncle Arthur’s Cafe
Craving a little lobster butternut squash bisque? We bring tidings of great joy!
Richard Gussoff, owner of 7th Avenue’s popular pop-up restaurant, The Soup Bowl, officially opened Uncle Arthur’s Cafe, located at 237 9th Street (near 4th Avenue), this past weekend, and there are a number of tasty delights to look forward to on the menu.
The new restaurant has everything from coffee and pastries during the day (yes, they have free wifi), to a seared duck breast with cassis, apples, melted leeks, and sautéed spinach ($21) in the evening. They also feature an 11:30am-3:30pm weekend brunch for $11.95 that includes your choice of drink, and dishes like sourdough french toast with plantains, and quinoa with black beans and grape tomatoes. Yum.
