This Week’s Subway Service Changes

Below you’ll find early week subway service changes for the A, C, G, B, Q, D, N, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue shuttle. Check back Thursday to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

Today:

Coney Island-bound N trains run via the Q from Canal St to DeKalb Av
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday, October 20 to Wednesday, October 22

No Coney Island-bound N service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Sts and Jay St-MetroTech. Use nearby 4 stations instead, then transfer between 4 and N trains at 14 St-Union Sq or Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.

For service to Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to DeKalb Av and transfer to an Astoria-bound N. For service from Jay St-MetroTech, take the F to 4 Av-9 St and transfer to the N. Transfer is available between the N and downtown 4 at Canal St after 1am. More details here.

Flatbush Av-bound 2 trains skip Bergen St, Grand Army Plaza and Eastern Pkwy
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am Monday through Friday until October 24

For service to these stations, take the 2 to Franklin Av and transfer to a Manhattan-bound 2 or 4. For service from these stations, take the 2 or 4 to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Flatbush Av-bound 2.

New Lots Av-bound 4 trains skip Bergen St, Grand Army Plaza and Eastern Pkwy
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am Monday through Friday until October 24

For service to these stations, take the 4 to Franklin Av and transfer to a Manhattan-bound 2 or 4. For service from these stations, take the 2 or 4 to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a New Lots Av-bound 4.

No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday through Friday until October 31

R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Take the N instead, and transfer between trains at 59 St.

No G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Church Av
Late nights, 11:30pm-5am, Monday to Friday until October 31

A and F trains provide alternate service. No G service at Bergen, Carroll, Smith-9 Sts, 4 Av-9 St, 7 Av, 15 St-Prospect Park, Fort Hamilton Pkwy and Church Av. Take the F instead.

Transfer between A and G trains at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts. Transfer between A and F trains at Jay St-MetroTech.

G service operates in two sections:
1. Between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs
2. Between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts

Transfer at Bedford-Nostrand Avs to continue your trip.

Starting Wednesday:

Astoria-bound N trains run via the Q from DeKalb Av to Canal St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Wednesday, October 22 to Friday, October 24

No Astoria-bound N service at Jay St-MetroTech, Court, Whitehall, Rector, Cortlandt Sts and City Hall. Use nearby 4 stations instead, then transfer between 4 and N trains at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr or 14 St-Union Sq.

For service to Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to 4 Av-9 St and transfer to the F. For service from Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to DeKalb Av and transfer to an Astoria-bound N. More details here.

145 St-bound B trains run local from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, October 22 to Friday, October 24

Please allow additional travel time.

Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Sheepshead Bay
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, October 22 to Friday, October 24

Trains stop at Church Av, Newkirk Plaza and Kings Hwy. For service to Parkside Av, Beverley, Cortelyou Rds, Avenue H, Avenue J, Avenue M, Avenue U and Neck Rd, take the Q to Church Av, Newkirk Plaza, Kings Hwy or Sheepshead Bay and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q.

For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Kings Hwy, Newkirk Plaza,
Church Av or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
