Two bedroom on East 18th near Newkirk Avenue
Available: Immediately
Price: $1,950
Details: This two bedroom apartment on the seventh floor of an elevator building looks pretty spacious – including plenty o’cupboard space in the kitchen. It’s hard to tell from the photos, but the listing says the kitchen could fit a table, and there’s a new refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. You’d have a king-sized master bedroom and a queen-sized second bedroom. And you’re close to the B/Q subway stop on Newkirk.

Three bedroom on Westminster Road
Available: November 1
Price: $3,000
Details: This three-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment at 365 Westminster Road dropped $200 in price eight days ago, and we’re wondering what you think of the $3,000 price tag? It’s on the fifth floor of a pre-war elevator building (so you have pretty sweet views of Cortelyou) and has a 12-by18 living room that opens to an 11-by-14 dining area. The kitchen has a dishwasher and what seems like a good amount of counter space. There’s a washer and dryer in the apartment, the smallest bedroom is 11-by-15 (with a closet and south light), the second bedroom has five windows (with south and west exposures), and the third bedroom is 12-by-18 with full closets. The building has a live-in super, and, at this location, you’re right by all the shopping and dining on Cortelyou Road, plus you’re close to the Q subway station. Cats are allowed, and dogs are permitted on a case-by-case basis.

Two bedroom in Kensington
Available: Immediately
Price: $3,000
Details: This two bedroom on East 4th Street (between Caton and Albemarle) looks pretty freaking huge – there’s a private terrace, a new deck (and a small room off the deck that has bay windows), and one of the bedrooms has three windows and a view of the building’s garden. The kitchen was apparently just renovated, and there seems to be lots of cabinet and counter space. Your cat or small dog would be allowed, but they specify that you can have no more than two adults (and four “occupants,” which we’re assuming means no more than two kids). You wouldn’t be too far of a walk from Prospect Park, though you’d have to cross Ocean Parkway, which is never fun. What do people think of the $3,000 asking price?

Four bedroom in Prospect Park South
Available: Immediately
Price: $3,250
Details: So, there’s no specific address given for this place (which they say is located at “Albemarle Road; Beverley Road,” so, ok, we’re assuming that means somewhere between the two), but when you click on the map the listing provides, it seems as though it might be pointing to East 19th Street, between Albemarle and Beverley. In any case, if you’re moving in with roommates, this place could be split four ways – meaning about $812 per person. It looks pretty spacious, has new stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), you’d have a washer and dryer, and there’s hardwood floors throughout the apartment. You’re allowed to have pets, though they’d need to be approved by the owner. If it’s where we think it is, you’d be close to the shopping and dining on both Church Avenue and Cortelyou Road, as well as the B/Q subway station on Church and the Q at Beverley.
