This Weekend’s Fort Greene-Clinton Hill Open House Picks: Multi-Families Under $2M Edition

We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting open houses happening around Fort Greene and Clinton Hill this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

69 Adelphi Street
List Price: $1,395,000
Size: Five bedrooms, four bathrooms split over two units
Details: This Wallabout house’s price dropped $100,000 at the end of last month, but that’s not all it’s got going for it. With its two recently renovated units featuring private outdoor spaces and electric fireplaces, this home could be a great turnkey option for someone looking to own with a tenant. It’s close to amenities on Myrtle, and if you don’t rely on the subway or mind noise from the BQE, this might be the one.
Open House: Sunday, November 9, 10:30-11:30am

66 Putnam Avenue
List Price: $1,550,000
Size: Five+ beds, three baths over two units
Details: Again, this place near the corner of Classon would be good for those who want an income property–and it doesn’t look from photos like it would take much, if any, renovating to get up to renter-worthy speed, plus it has lovely features like large windows, fireplaces, exposed brick, and of course a yard, too. Oh, and the ad says “The renaissance is under way” in the area, so you can probably expect lots of jousting, chainmail, and unconvincing English accents. Huzzah!
Open House: Sunday, November 9, 1-3pm

15 Irving Place
List Price: $1,700,000
Size: Nine bedrooms, four bathrooms split over four units
Details: Unlike the above homes, this place isn’t split into two units–it’s split into four. There’s currently one tenant living there, although you can apparently have the home delivered vacant should you choose to do so. The photos aren’t the greatest, but considering its size and location smack between Pratt and Fulton shopping, dining, and transportation, it could be worth a walk through.
Open House: Sunday, November 9, 12:30-2:30pm

232 Greene Avenue
List Price: $1,795,000
Size: Six bedrooms, three bathrooms split over two units
Details: Back to the two unit format. This home is on the very busy stretch of Greene Avenue between Classon and Grand, which is something of a double-edged sword–it could be a lucrative investment considering all the new buildings coming to the block (and new restaurants and craft food shops around the corner), but you’ll probably be putting up with noise from multiple construction sites for a while. If you’re willing to stick it out, though, drop by on Sunday.
Open House: Sunday, November 9, 12-1pm
