Don’t want Halloween to be over tonight? You can keep celebrating all things ghoulish by going to a beer tasting by the Wychwood Brewery, a British company that has a flagship brand named Hobgoblin, at the Flatbush Food Co-op (1415 Cortelyou Road) on Saturday, November 1, from 3-6pm.

Additionally, the co-op will be hosting a food drive for CAMBA’s emergency food pantry on Sunday, November 2 from 1-4pm. Donations of nutritious, nonperishable canned or packaged foods are welcome, including: canned tuna, salmon and chicken, dried milk, beans, fruit, vegetables, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, and 100 percent fruit juice.

The food pantry, located at 2241 Church Avenue, serves more than 4,300 people each month – and those who seek the pantry’s help are incredibly diverse, from those holding down several jobs to seniors and those whose unemployment benefits have run out.

If you’re looking for another way to help CAMBA and the people it serves, you can donate to their 500 Turkeys for 500 Families Thanksgiving drive here.
