Weekend Crime Blotter: Public Lewdness On ‘N’ Train, Taxi Robbery In Bed-Stuy, Assault in Greenpoint
CONEY ISLAND – The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the below photo in connection to a public lewdness incident that occurred on an “N” train last month.
At approximately 11am on Saturday, September 30, a 23-year-old woman told police she and the male suspect were on a southbound “N” train when the suspect began to masturbate under his clothing. The victim exited the subway at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station while the suspect remained on the train.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, white jacket, blue shirt, and gray and green jogging pants.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT – The NYPD is searching for three suspects who robbed a taxi driver after he dropped them off in Bed-Stuy late last month.
At approximately 4:10am on Friday, September 29, the three suspects got into a taxi and instructed the driver to take them to Saint Andrews Place and Herkimer Street. After arriving to their destination on Saint Andrews Place, the three men grabbed the 34-year-old male driver’s hands, punched him in the stomach, and took $100 cash and his Samsung Galaxy 5 cell phone before running off, according to police.
The driver refused medical attention at the scene. The police describe the three suspects as follows:
Suspect 1: Hispanic male, approximately 5′ 4″ tall and 140 pounds
Suspect 2: black male, approximately 5′ 9″ tall and 150 pounds with close-cut black hair
Suspect 3: black male, approximately 5′ 9″ tall with brown eyes and straight hair.

PROSPECT PARK SOUTH – Police are searching for the man seen in the below surveillance video in connection to a burglary that occurred in Prospect Park South.
At approximately 4:30am on Friday, September 29, the suspect entered an apartment in a building located within the vicinity of Woodruff & Crooke Avenues through a fire escape. The suspect took off with approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry and $5,000 worth of electronics, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a brown hat, blue coat, and blue jeans.

GREENPOINT – Police are searching for the two men seen in the below photos in connection to an assault that happened in Greenpoint last month.
At approximately 2:50am on Friday, September 15, a 36-year-old male was in the vicinity of 151 Nassau Avenue when the two suspects approached him from behind and punched him. After the victim fell to the ground, the suspects continued to kick and punch him before fleeing the scene, police say. The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.
Police describe the two suspects as follows:
Suspect 1: white male, approximately 29-years-old, 5′ 11″, with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a royal blue shirt, dark-colored shorts, and black sneakers.
Suspect 2: white male, approximately 29-years-old, 5′ 11″, with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark-colored shorts, and black sneakers.

BOERUM HILL/FORT GREENE – And police are once again requesting assistance in identifying a trio of armed robbers who struck twice in August in Boerum Hill and Fort Greene.
In both incidents, the group displayed a firearm and demanded the male victims’ belongings. Read more about the incidents here and see the video (captured near the first robbery that took place at Pacific and Hoyt Streets) of the suspects below.
