What: This Fritz Lang movie will get you in the Halloween spirit with spooky atmosphere and frequent visits from beyond the grave. Fun fact: The Nazis banned the film as “a menace to public health and safety” out of fear it would undermine their government.

One Teen Story Homecoming Dance & Fundraiser
When: Wednesday, October 2, 7pm
Where: Littlefield, 622 Degraw Street
What: Wear your best school dance attire and dance to help a good cause! Tiger Beat, a live band made up of young adult authors will play, a homecoming king and queen will be crowned, and you’ll be supporting One Teen Story, a literary magazine that’s entering its second year of publishing YA short stories, one at a time.
How much: $15 in advance, $20 at the door; all proceeds go to One Teen Story; 21+
Gothamist Tria Night

What: Everyone’s favorite NYC blog Gothamist is teaming up with TrivWorks for a night of New York-centric trivia. We’d bet on at least one Park Slope question, as it’s where editor Jake Dobkin grew up.
