Wednesday Crime Blotter: Two Non-Fatal Shootings, A Prospect Heights Perv & More

CANARSIE – Police are looking for the man who shot a 16-year old boy in the leg after they two bumped into each other in a grocery store last week.

Robert Gilmore, 26, was in a grocery store at 5604 Avenue H at 9:30 in the morning when he and the 16-year old victim bumped into each other, said police. After a brief exchange of words, Gilmore pulled a gun and shot the boy in the leg, then fled the store.

The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical but stable condition, said police. A photo of Robert Gilmore, wanted in connection with the shooting, is below:

PROSPECT HEIGHTS – A man is wanted for public lewdness after exposing himself on the train last week, said police.

A 26-year old woman was standing on a southbound Q train at the 7th Avenue Station at 1:30 am on Monday, March 12 when the suspect approached her, pulled down his pants, and began to masturbate, said police.

Luckily, the victim was able to flee the scene without any physical contact with the suspect. A picture of the perv in question can be seen below:

SHEEPSHEAD BAY – Police are looking for the man who robbed a deliveryman on Nostrand Avenue earlier this month.

Around 3:30 pm, on Wednesday, March 7, a 57-year old delivery man was making a drop-off to Ester’s Food, at 3664 Nostrand Avenue, when he was robbed, said police. The suspect approached him from behind and forcibly removed $250 from his pocket before fleeing on foot, said police. No one was injured.

EAST FLATBUSH – A suspect is at large and wanted by police after shooting a man in the back on Lenox Road in the first week of March.

The incident took place on Monday, March 5, around 7:30 pm, said police, when the suspect approached his victim on the 500-block of Lenox Road and shot the 36-year old victim once in the back.

The shooter fled the scene and the victim was transported by EMS to Kings County Hospital in critical but stable condition, said police. A surveillance photo of the suspect can be seen below:
