Warm Up With Mulled Wine, A Hot Toddy Or Tea

If hot chocolate isn’t your thing, there are still plenty of ways to warm up around South Slope.

With mulled wine (shown above) and a smoked hot toddy, Brook Vin (381 7th Avenue, between 11th and 12th Streets) is ready to help you take off that Friday night chill. The wine bar is open until midnight.

The Black Horse Pub (568 5th Avenue at 16th Street) has basketball, $6 hot cider, and $7 Irish coffee! They’ll be open until 4am.

Prospect (545 5th Avenue, between 14th and 15th Streets) compliments their cozy interior with $6 hot drinks (hot toddy, Irish coffee and spiked hot cider) all day long, and will be open until 4am.

Just down the street, The Monro Pub (481 5th Avenue, between 11th and 12th Streets) says that they have a hot toddy “that will surely warm your cockles!” The Monro is also open until 4am.

If you’d rather stick to the non-alcoholic beverages, Gather (341 7th Avenue, between 9th and 10th Streets) has a killer house-made Chai, flavored coffees, and hot cider at the ready. They’ll be open until 9pm on Friday.
