Mother of Four Killed in Hit-and-Run in Cypress Hills
CYPRESS HILLS – A 50-year-old pedestrian is dead after a driver struck her and left the scene.
On October 28 at around 7:33 p.m., Vabita Arjune, a mother of four children, was attempting to cross Liberty Avenue and Crescent Street after running a few errands near her home. She was then struck by a driver in a grey sedan. After hitting the woman with the car, the driver fled the scene. Arjune was left with severe trauma to her torso and was taken to Jamaica Medical Center. On November 7, she died from her injuries.
On November 9, cops released a photo of the vehicle they believe was driven by the person that struck Arjune. According to the NYPD, it’s a 2014-2015 Hyundai Sonata with some mirror damage on the driver’s side. Do you know the person/vehicle that could be responsible for the fatal hit-and-run?
