Two bandits stormed an Avenue Z Liquor store Sunday night and drew a pistol on an employee while demanding cash, police say.

The heist occurred just after 7pm at the Friendly Liquor Discount Store located at the intersection of Avenue Z and Sheepshead Bay Road, according to authorities. One of the suspects pulled out a silver handgun during the robbery, cops say.

Police did not disclose the amount of money stolen because the investigation is ongoing. The suspects are both described as Hispanic men, about five feet, seven inches tall, and 180 pounds. Cops say they fled the store on foot.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
