Tutta Pasta Space Listed For Rent

Looks like we may lose an Italian standby on 7th Avenue, as the Tutta Pasta space has been listed for rent.

According to a listing on Loop Net, the 3,000-square-foot space at 160 7th Avenue, between Garfield Place and 1st Street, is available for “$45 PSF below market,” and though the asking rent is not listed, they say it’s negotiable. The space currently has seating for 140 plus a cafe permit for an additional 14 seats, a full liquor license, and a basement.

This adds to a long list of open commercial spaces along 7th Avenue, though it’s definitely the largest — coming in second place is the former Sweet Melissa space at 175 7th Ave, which is 1,300 square feet and asking $14k per month in rent.

While it gets some mixed reviews on Yelp, Tutta Pasta has been a pretty reliable red-sauce joint for years, and it always seems to be pretty hopping. In 2012 they expanded when they opened a wine and pizza bar, Piccola Uva, across the street.
