With just 20 days to go before the election, New York-based data-driven real estate startup RentHop has mapped out Brooklyn’s share of donors for presidential nominees Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton by zip code, and Southwest Brooklyn is by far the borough’s biggest Trump fan zone.

Using data from the Federal Election Commission, RentHop discovered that Dyker Heights (11228) ranked in the top five among all city zip codes where Trump has the biggest lead (the neighborhood has had 34 donors give to Trump, and 15 to Clinton).

In the map, light blue and light red zip codes are areas where the candidate has 55 to 70 percent of donors. (Blue is for Clinton, red is for Trump.) Dark blue and dark red zip codes are areas where the candidate has a 70+ percent majority.

As well, there are 15 purple zip codes — meaning neither Clinton nor Trump have over 55 percent of donors.

According to the map, southwestern Brooklyn is by far the most Trump-happy area in the borough, with Coney Island, Sea Gate, Gravesend, Fort Hamilton and Dyker Heights constituting the only light red zip codes in Brooklyn. Meanwhile, Bay Ridge, Bath Beach, and most of Bensonhurst constitute the borough’s only light blue zip codes. Borough Park, Brighton Beach, Manhattan Beach and Mill Basin are purple, and the rest of the borough is solidly dark blue.
