Transit Service Interruptus: F & N Lines Win High Marks For Inconvenience This Week

F Line

Jamaica-bound F trains run express from Neptune Avenue to Smith-9th streets
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, September 14-18

No Jamaica-bound service at Avenue X, Avenue U, Avenue P, Avenue N, Bay Parkway, Avenue I, Ditmas Avenue, Fort Hamilton Parkway, 15th Street-Prospect Park and 4th Avenue-9th Street.

Travel Alternatives

For service to Avenue X, Avenue U, Avenue P, Avenue N, Bay Parkway, Avenue I or Ditmas Avenue, take the F to Kings Highway, 18th Avenue or Church Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For service from these stations, take the F to 18th Avenue, Kings Highway or Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

For Fort Hamilton Parkway, 15th Street-Prospect Park and 4th Avenue-9th Street, take the G instead. Transfer between trains at Church Avenue, 7th Avenue or Smith-9th Street.

Avenue X and Ditmas Avenue F Train Station Closures and Information.

The Manhattan-bound platform at Avenue X is closed for renovation until winter 2015/16. The Manhattan-bound platform at Ditmas Avenue is closed for renovation until fall 2015.

Avenue X

For service to this station, take the F to Avenue U and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For service from this station, take the F to Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

Ditmas Avenue

For service to this station, take the F to Church Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For service from this station, take the F to 18th Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

N Line

Astoria-bound N trains run via the D from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Tuesday to Thursday, September 15-17

Trains run express, stopping at Bay Parkway, 62nd Street-New Utrecht Avenue and 9th Avenue.

For service to 86th Street, Avenue U, Kings Highway, Bay Parkway, and 20th or 18th avenues, take the D or N to 62nd Street-New Utrecht Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.

For service to Fort Hamilton Parkway and 8th Avenue, take the D or N to 36th Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.

For service from these stations, take the N to New Utrecht Avenue-62nd Street or Stillwell Avenue and transfer to an Astoria-bound N.

For 59th, 53rd and 45th streets, take the R instead. Transfer between trains at 36th Street.
