Traffic Alert: Street Closures For Officer Liu’s Wake & Funeral

The NYPD has announced several local street closures and parking restrictions related to the viewing and funeral service for Officer Wenjian Liu this weekend. There will be traffic delays during these times and use of public transportation is highly recommended:

Saturday, January 3, 12pm to 10pm: 65th Street between 12th Avenue and 14th Avenue will be closed and there will be no parking.  Additionally, there will be no parking on 13th Avenue between 64th Street and 68th Street.

Sunday, January 4, 7am to 2pm: 65th Street between 11th Avenue and 18th Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic, there will be no parking, and pedestrian traffic will be limited.  Additionally, there will be no parking on 13th Avenue between 64th Street and Bay Ridge Parkway.
