Touch-A-Truck Returns To PS 295 This Saturday

This Saturday, May 17, the super cool Touch-A-Truck fundraiser at PS 295 (330 18th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues) is back!

From 12-5pm, curious kids can check out–and get in–more than 25 vehicles from 6th to 7th Avenue on 18th Street, including concrete mixers, construction trucks, heavy duty tow trucks, the Fort Hamilton Army Reserve Humvee, FDNY, NYPD, and EMT transportation, school buses, DSNY garbage trucks, Mike’s Tool Sharpening Truck, an Electric FreshDirect food delivery truck, a Big Sasco Excavator/Bobcat, cherry pickers, ambulances, and even the Sean Casey Animal Adoption Van.

The event will also feature a mini car section, a puppet show from the NYC Parks Department Performance Truck, food, a bouncy house, and plenty of other fun!

South Slope News‘ Christine Bush spoke to PS 295 President Amy Janzen about what to expect at this year’s totally awesome event, which is $8 per person or $15 for two (babies worn by adults get in free). Learn more here, and enjoy!
