Want to learn how to strum that guitar that’s been sitting in a corner for way too long? Or maybe you’d like your kids to meet some new friends from the neighborhood?

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 2, from 10:30am to 6pm, EzraGuitar (785 Coney Island Avenue, between Cortelyou and Dorchester Roads) will be holding a free open house that all our neighborhood kids and adults are invited to! During the event, you can get a free trial lesson to get a taste of what the music shop’s program is all about — plus get a chance to meet other arts-loving neighbors.

Here’s the schedule for tomorrow’s free event:

  • 10:30am: Musical storytime class for children up to four years old.
  • 11:15am-12pm: Kids are invited to have fun during a playtime session while caregivers can find out more about summer and fall programs. The summer program (which you can find out more about here) begins the week of July 6.
  • 1-6pm: Trial guitar lessons from neighbor and EzraGuitar owner Maoz Ezra, a classical guitarist who has performed across the globe. Lessons are open to neighbors of all ages. Appointments are not necessary, but are recommended. To make an appointment, call 718-434-2103.

If you have any questions or would like more information, you can reach EzraGuitar by calling 718-434-2103 or emailing info@ezraguitar.com.
