Time to Sign Up For Winter and Spring Baseball and Softball

The new year is here and it’s getting colder. It may feel strange to start talking baseball but, if you’re going to strap on cleats in warmer weather, it’s near time to start thinking about the spring.

Sign ups for the South Brooklyn Baseball League opened today. The league offers indoor training for softball and baseball on Sundays, January 6 through March 10. The SBBL has programs for boys and girls ages 4-13. You can also sign up for outdoor ball this spring in Prospect Park starting in early April.

Come in out of the cold and start getting ready to play in the spring! Whether you are just starting out, or you are experienced and looking to sharpen your skills, we have a program for you, for both boys and girls. In these winter sessions, baseball is for boys & girls ages 4-8; softball is for girls ages 10-14.
You may also sign up now for playing baseball and softball this spring in Prospect Park. And you should sign up quickly because the league will start closing down divisions in mid-February. So, it might seem far away today, but the spring season opening in early April is really not very far away.

If you’re interested, find more info on the many programs offered at SBBL’s website. Forms can be found here. Kids up to 16 years old can find a place to play.

Parents, where are your kids playing this year?
