This Week’s B & Q Subway Service Changes

For those of you who haven’t jumped town this week,  hopefully you’re getting to take the subway to, say, the beach and not work! But, wherever you’re going, the planned changes don’t look too brutal. Nothing is planned for the B, but take note that, beginning Wednesday, Coney Island-bound Q trains are running express from Prospect Park to Sheepshead Bay. Information via mta.info.

Starting Monday:

Q trains run every 30 minutes between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and Stillwell Avenue.
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday, June 30 through Thursday, July 3.
Service operates in two sections: One, between 57th Street-7th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center, and two, between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and Stillwell Avenue. Transfer at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to continue your trip.

Starting Tuesday:

57th Street/7th Avenue-bound Q trains skip DeKalb Avenue
Late nights, 12am to 5am, Tuesday, July 1 to Thursday, July 3.
For service to this station, transfer to the 2 or 4 at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center for service to nearby Nevins street. For service from this station, take the D, N, or Q to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center, where it will become a 57th Street/7th Avenue bound Q train.
