• A developer who was recently caught up in a controversy surrounding charges of fraud has come to the neighborhood.

• The body of a Brooklyn man was found by two boaters in the lake in Prospect Park on Wednesday afternoon, August 19, according to police.

• A standing-room-only crowd was on hand for a public hearing on Tuesday by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission concerning further developments to the Pavilion Theater project, and the neighbors who packed the room were not pleased.

• The Department of Transportation is going to study the intersection of 8th Ave and Windsor Place to see if it is suitable for a traffic light.

• Congrats to Jaya Yoga, which was just named one of the best yoga spots in the entire city.
