Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Association – Monthly Meeting

What: The next meeting of the Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Association (MBNA) will feature Amy Ditchek, who will give a discussion on skin problems, concerns and protection against skin cancers. Previously announced plans to host 61st Precinct’s Deputy Inspector Carlos Valdez have been canceled due to availability.

Where: Find your poll site
What: Following the resignation of Congressman Michael Grimm, Democratic candidate Vinnie Gentile, Republican candidate Dan Donovan, and Green Party candidate James Lane face off to take his seat. About a third of Sheepshead Bay and most of Gravesend is in this district.

What: Librarians share recent films during this weekly event. This Tuesday, it’s the action-packed John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves as an ex-hitman who comes out of retirement to kill, well, pretty much everybody, because somebody killed his dog. Really. It’s terrific.
