This Week at the Cortelyou Greenmarket

Here’s what’s going on this Sunday at the Cortelyou Greenmarket, from Market Manager Samantha Blatteis:

We are welcoming back Hodgsons Farm, who will likely have an assortment of potted plants, flowers, hanging baskets, and vegetable seedling to beautify your home and gardens. Farmer John of Muddy River will return in a week!
For those of you doing spring cleaning, remember you can bring your food scraps and old clothing to our weekly compost and textile recycling!  From 8am to 2pm, on the corner of Rugby and Cortelyou. For more information about what can be recycled, please visit grownyc.org/compost.

Because the market is expanding for the summer season, it is really important to avoid towing by not parking on Cortelyou OR Rugby Roads, in designated Farmer Parking.

Visit the info tent for recipes, information, cooking demonstrations, and to use your debit, credit, or EBT cards.

The Cortelyou Greenmarket runs every Sunday, rain or shine, 8am to 3pm on Cortelyou Rd between Argyle and Rugby. For more market information, visit their Facebook page or the Cortelyou Greenmarket website.
