Celebrate Earth Day tomorrow at the Cortelyou Greenmarket! Market Manager Samantha Blatteis sends this update:

Bring your food scraps and textiles to be recycled for the inaugural day of Compost and Textile Collection! More information is available here.

To celebrate, there will be music for families and kids from Jammin’ with You!, starting at 10:30am.

Also at the info tent, from 10am to 12pm, we will be planting seeds for you to take home your very own herb plant! Also grab information on starting your own urban or container garden.

Remember to avoid ticketing and towing by not parking on Cortelyou or Rugby Roads. Visit the Info tent to use your EBT, debit, or credit cards.
