This Week at the Cortelyou Greenmarket

Whether you’re putting together a Passover seder plate or planning for an Easter dinner, you’ll be able to pick up some ingredients at the Cortelyou Greenmarket tomorrow. It will be open as usual on Sunday from 8am to 3pm on Cortelyou Road between Argyle and Rugby Roads.

However, because it falls on the Easter holiday, it will be a bit smaller than usual. Our new market manager Tali Biale tells us that Seatuck Fish and Healthway Farms will definitely be absent, and that at the moment, DiPaola turkey and Consider Bardwell cheese may be as well.

Also as of now, it looks like composting and textile recycling will happen:

• Bring food scraps to be composted from 8am-1pm.

• Drop off textiles to be recycled from 8am-2pm.

Also, don’t forget to sign in as a Winter Warrior at the info tent for a chance to win a prize.

For more info, follow the Cortelyou Greenmarket on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
