This Week at the Cortelyou Greenmarket

Tomorrow at the Cortelyou Greenmarket Chef Romy Dorotan of Purple Yam will be grilling up something special. Stop by the info tent at 10:30am for a taste and to ask him all about why he loves to shop at the Greenmarkets for his restaurant.

“Don’t forget to pick up your favorite summer fruits and vegetables,” says Manager Samantha Blatteis, “including watermelon, canteloupe, peaches, plums, apricots, corn, heirloom tomatoes, peppers, beans, cabbages, fennel, carrots, beets, and greens, now at Cortelyou Greenmarket!”

Bring unwanted clothes and other textiles and/or food scraps for collection on the corner of Rugby and Cortelyou from 8am to 1pm.

For every five dollars you spend with your EBT card, you will receive a $2 Healthbucks coupon free for fruits and vegetables. WIC and FMNP checks are also gladly accepted at market.

Avoid ticketing and towing by not parking on Cortelyou or Rugby Roads. Visit the info tent to use your debit, credit, or EBT cards. For more info, follow Cortelyou Greenmarket on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @bkgreenmarkets.

The Greenmarket runs every Sunday, rain or shine, 8am to 4pm between Argyle and Rugby.
