This Saturday: Family Fun Day & Movie Night In Bensonhurst Park

Councilman Vincent Gentile and NIA have teamed up to host a “Family Fun Night” and movie for all ages in Bensonhurst Park this weekend.

The park will be filled with kid-friendly activities on Saturday, June 27, from 4pm – 8pm.

In addition to games, prizes and raffles for all ages, the event will include light refreshments, free ice cream for the first 500 guests, face-painting, NYPD rock wall, FDNY smokehouse, field games provided by the Parks Department and music provided by a DJ.

Finally, there will be a screening of The Lego Movie starting at 8pm. Folks are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnic supplies. Popcorn and water will be provided before the movie begins.

“Family Fun Night at Bensonhurst Park promises to be a fun-filled night for residents of all ages,” said Gentile. “Pack a picnic, bring your friends and family and enjoy the great outdoors from our local Bensonhurst Park. I look forward to seeing everyone there!”
